Avdi sustained to his head and right arm. Avdi sued Manesherian, alleging that Manesherian was negligent in the operation of his vehicle. Plaintiff’s counsel contended that Manesherian failed to reduce his speed and yield to Avdi, causing the accident., Avdi sustained a traumatic brain injury and a closed fracture of the right, dominant arm’s humerus. He was immediately taken to a hospital, and later underwent an open reduction and internal fixation of the humerus.
